The Itinerary

Ten things to do, to see in Japan
Ten experiences of beauty of culture of man.
The neon of Tokyo strobing aglow
A crane passing a full moon with wings wide and slow.
The sun in the east as it rises reborn
Reflecting on water that falls in Kegan.
The gases and sulphur from Hakones' Hot Springs
How to decide when there's so many things.
A geisha, a ninja, a brave samurai
All of the past but the spirit survives.
The monkeys, the deer and exotic beast
The temples on Koya to find inner peace.
My list could go on, continue to grow
I've not mentioned Kyoto or Shirakawa Go,
Or the Pacific, the ocean, the blue salty main,
The trams or the subway, the fast bullet train.
My list could go on but must come to an end,
it keeps right on growing as is now way past ten.
